Hypotheses

Alternative/ Experimental Hypotheses: The alternative hypothesis states how the research hypothesis can be operationalised, or carried out. Identify what variables are to be measured for example;
'5 year olds who eat 10g of oily fish per day will do better in spelling tests than those 5 year olds who do not eat any oily fish'

Null hypothesis: States there is no difference between the variables being measured.
'There will be no difference in the spelling test scores between 5 year olds who eat 10g of oily fish and those who do not eat any oily fish'.
